Prediction: There will be a playable multicellular stage in around a year.

Noahendless

I think so, everybody forgets that Thrive is still in alpha. On top of that, due to Covid the devs are probably home able to work on this more which means more rapid development and release of updates.

ForksOnAPlate13

We need to try and grow the number of people who know about Thrive. Post about them as much as possible on social media and Reddit, be a patron if you can, tell Spore fans about them....

hhyyrylainen

You would hope that is the case, however the last couple of weeks have been slow with basically just me doing programming for thrive. Hopefully we'll see more activity starting now.

ForksOnAPlate13

Yes. It’s unfortunate to see and makes me a little uneasy after a period of so much progress. If I was any good at programming I’d offer to help, but unfortunately, all I can provide are a few measly bucks on Patreon.

Naughty_Luki

Maybe OP is just old

My money says two or three years at the current pace, but yeah - not super insanely far out.

Thebestnickever

I feel like this is just as frustrating for the devs as it is for players, they don't really have much manpower rn

biomassex

ThePresident44

I have been lurking this project since like 2011/2012. Am now 20, so can confirm.

biomassex

maxtinion_lord

Same bruh, shit's just been flying low for years

AbellanaAmoris

It’s like yansim level of development speed but the devs aren’t pieces of shit like yandev

Dr_docter_the_doctor

Multicellular? Like actual creatures? Man, I really hope this game doesn't get *Yandere Dev'd*
