I’m paranoid of dying before I have kids and want to leave my dna behind so that I can be cloned

My bloodline ends with me!
I had the opposite problem. I feared unwanted children more than anything. When I die, I will be nothing. I will not exist and it will be as it was before I was born.... well for me.
I believe that you can leave DNA samples that will allow you to be cloned. Children will not be a good source of cloning as they will have a mix of DNA. Therefore the expressed genotype will differ from you.
Also remember that the cloned version of you will not have infant telomeres. As such, the cells and tissues of the infant will age very quickly
Just because you are cloned, doesn’t mean “you” will inhabit the body. You will not have a body anymore. That can’t be fixed by having a new system the same as your old one. Cloning doesn’t include your memories, your knowledge and your love. It just copies your physical traits that another person will have.
I know. Cloning is a physical copy of genetic material. There is no *you*...consciousness is the result of chemical reactions.
Why not try sperm donation?
by the time i estimate cloning will be good enough to work with genetic material that isn't the whole intact body any samples you suggested would be useless, but so is cloning, just accept that your being will be gone as soon as you are, maybe a few months after the fact
I’m an only child and have no children and plan not to. Honestly think about the future these people will have to grow up in. Join the cannonballing your genetic line into oblivion clan
